摘要
壁龛在各地楚墓中均有一定数量的发现,本文通过综合分析湖北地区带龛楚墓的流行时期、分布区域、墓主身分、头向、随葬品及不同时期带龛楚墓的比例关系等,揭示湖北地区带龛楚墓的一般特征,并进而认为湖北地区带龛楚墓为庶民墓的埋葬形式之一,而非某一特定“族”的葬俗。
Tombs with niches are widely found among Chu sites. This paper concludes with general traits of these tombs in aspects of their relevance to period style, distribution, identification of the dead, heading orientation, buried materials and their changes along the axis of time. It further indicates that tombs with niches are one burial form for normal people instead of that for a specific clan in the Chu state.
