摘要
当今英语教学中,许多教师依然采用的是“语法+翻译”的方法。这种方法固然可以使学生系统地学习第二外语的语法及语言结构知识,但是在交流日益成为学习外语的最终目标的时候,这种方法就显得纯理论化了,不能使语言的交际能力得到最终体现。本篇文章阐述的是在英语教学过程中,特别是在当今职业教育迅速发展的今天,英语教学既要重视语言的法则及结构,更应突出语言的基本功能——日常交际手段,充分体现听、说为先,读、写、译跟上的教学原则,并使学生在学习过程中不会觉得枯燥。
Grammar and translation' has long been the emphasis of English language teaching in China, which undoubtedly helps students learn grammar and language structures, while when communication is becoming the goal of language learning, it appears obviously impractical and insufficient in social communication. This paper stresses the great communicative function of language and the importance of applying communicative strategy in English teaching.
