摘要
采用2000年广东省人口普查的数据资料,运用多变量聚类和统计分析相结合的方法,对广东省50个地方性城市进行了统一的综合职能分类,共分出职能特征较为明晰的7个大类和反映内部次一级差异的12个亚类,进而揭示各职能类型城市在空间分布上的差异。
The classification of urban function is usually based on the analysis of urban basic activities. By using the data from Tabulation on the 2000 Population Census of Guangdong Province and combining the multivariate cluster and statistical analysis, 50 local cities of Guangdong in term of the comprehensive urban function are classified into 7 groups and 12 subgroups. The geographical distributiaon of the 7 groups are as follows: The manufacturing cities are distributed in the Pearl River Delta (PRD) and the coastland of eastern Guangdong; the specialized business cities are distributed in the coastland; most of the servicing-consuming cities are distributed in the PRD and the others are those at prefecture level scattering in different regions; the specialized mining cities are mainly in northern Guangdong; the basal welfare cities concentrate in western Guangdong; and the architecture cities and administration cities scatter in other areas out of the PRD. The classification is important for understanding the urban functional structure and functional character, and the spatial distribution diversities of different functional categories of cities. It also offers a comparison in studying the cities in Guangdong and determining their development direction in the process of regional harmonious development.
