摘要
北魏太武帝拓跋焘灭佛是中国古代史上“三武一宗”灭佛的第一次。此次法难主要是由于佛教与儒、道二教之间的矛盾冲突 ,佛教自身的腐化堕落以及佛教与主权之间的矛盾冲突而引起的。
Taiwu Emperor of Beiwei set a precedent of destroying Buddhism in Chinese history. This is Buddhism's first destruction by 'Sanwuyizong'. The disaster was due to the conflict between Buddhism and Confucianism, Taoism; the corruption inside Buddhism and the contradiction with royalty.
