摘要
关于北魏太武帝灭佛,史学界众说纷纭。太武灭佛不是单一因素引起的。太武帝傲慢自负、飞扬跋扈,缺乏包容之心、好暴怒;做事野蛮、冲动,一意孤行,变本加厉,好杀掠;事后又多反悔,充满矛盾。从太武的性格、精神来分析这场灭佛事件,不仅是合乎史实的,而且也是一个值得注意的结论。
There have been controversies on Emperor Tai Wu ＇s eradication of Buddhists in historic research.This paper attempts a psychoanalysis of his conduct which might be caused by more than one factor.A noteworthy conclusion from this research is that arrogance,aggressiveness,savageness,impulsiveness,arbitrariness and hesitation in his personality are responsible for his demolition of Buddhism.
