摘要
在中国古代朝代建立以前的时期,战国人称为五帝时期。“五帝”并非以五位帝王为限,更非仅限于一族之内,所以不能称为朝代,但它保持了一定的历史形态,为朝代的建立开通了道路。研究古代历史,不能用后世的观念来说明,更不能以考古发掘的成就代替旧传的文字记载。我们既要破除旧有说法之误,更要认真研究固有资料中的真实部分,以恢复古代历史的真相。
The period before formal Chinese dynasties began was called Five - Lord Period by people in the Warring States Period. 'Five- Lord' does not mean five lords in practice or is limited in one nationality, so this period can not be called dynasty.
