摘要
广告作为一种社会语篇,具有独特鲜明的语言、语用和跨文化交际特色。国外涌入的大量英语广告为英语学习者提供了一个真实语言运用的宝贵资源,如何充分、有效地利用这一资源对提高英语教学质量,特别是提高学生综合的语言运用能力有着重要的意义。在对近年来英语广告研究成果深入的分析和综合基础上,本文提出英语广告用于教学的实用性框架,并指出在教学中充分运用这一资源有着广阔的前景。
As a type of social discourse, advertisements can be characterized from linguistic, pragmatic and cross-cultural perspectives . In the present age of globalization, English advertisements which prevail in everyday life offer valuable resources of language use to English learners. It is of great importance to fully utilize these resources to improve the quality of English teaching, especially learners' abilities to use English. Based on an analysis of the recent research findings in English advertising, this paper proposes a framework of using advertisements for teaching purposes from linguistics, pragmatic and cross-cultural communication points of view. The paper also points out that there is considerable scope for the exploration of advertisements in English teaching.
