摘要
针对TM5码率控制模型存在的不足,提出了在DCT域计算帧和宏块复杂度方法;同时取消了TM5中多个虚拟缓冲区,仅保留唯一缓冲区以平滑码率的波动.仿真结果表明:与TM5相比,能够有效地提高场景切换时视频质量,而且也保证了虚拟缓冲区的一致性,防止缓冲区的上溢和下溢.
TM5 describes a constant rate control scheme that consists of three steps: bit allocation, rate control and adaptive quantization. However, there exist some limitations due to poor adaptation to scene cut and no buffer compliance. In this paper, a DCT domain method for calculating frames' and macroblocks' complexity was first proposed; meanwhile, only one virtual buffer is reserved for smoothing bit rate variation. Simulation results show that the proposed method can not only improve video quality, especially in scene changes, but also guarantee the virtual buffer compliance and prevent the buffer from overflow and underflow.
