摘要
本文认为,人类翻译经历了三个阶段,即口语翻译阶段、文字翻译阶段和文化翻译阶段,目前我们已经处于文化翻译阶段。鉴于翻译所处的文化语境已经变化,所以我们有必要进行译学观念的现代化,调整、丰富和充实我们对翻译和翻译研究的认识,推进翻译学学科的建设。
The present paper proposes three periods in the history of human translation: a period of inter-lingual oral communication,a period of written translation and a period of cultural translation. We are now in the third of these periods, an era in which the cultural context of translation has undergone dramatic changes. It is therefore essential that we revisit existing concepts of translation and translation studies, modernizing and adjusting them so as to further the establishment of translation studies as a more independent discipline.
