The problem of difficult dismount for shaft coupling's bolts of high - capacity turbo - generators is always a puzzling matter in a comparatively large range of installation and repair works at power plants. Through efforts of engineers and technicians with Dongfang Steam Turbine Works and Shangan Power Plant, a new kind of hydraulic tensile bolts has been developed to sabstituee the traditionally used couplings bolts. The new bolts have been successfully used on 300MW units in Shangan Power Plant.
