摘要
本文报导一种适于相干光纤通信系统应用的单模光纤偏振自动控制技术。控制装置由两个互成45°的PZT与单片微机构成,反馈信号由接收端二次外差中频包络采样获得。在λ=633nm以及λ=1.52μm波长的自差与外差系统下试验,得到的稳定度不低于1.0%,插入损耗小于0.1dB,响应速度约140ms,该装置可长时间连续工作。
This paper reports a polarization control technique for coherent optical fiber communication systems. The set is composed of two PZT tilted 45° relative to each other and a microcomputer. The feedback signal is obtained by sampling the IF envelope of twice heterodyne at receiver. The experiments for the ho-modyne and heterodyne systems at λ = 633 nm and λr = 1.52 μm wavelengths respectively, show that the signal stability is better than 1.0%, the insertion loss and responsive rate of this set are less than 0.1 dB and approximately equal to 140 ms, respectively. This set can be operated for a longtime.
