摘要
针对交通监控中的车速检测问题 ,提供了一种基于视频图像处理的车速检测方法 ,从CCD摄像机采集图像 ,在图像上的特定区域定义虚拟线圈 ,然后通过估算虚拟线圈的运动矢量 ,就可以检测经过虚拟线圈车辆的运动速度 .实验结果表明 。
A method of detecting vehicle speed by image processing was presented aiming at the speed detection in the traffic control. Virtual loops were defined on the image sequence extracted from the CCD cameras. By the use of the block-based motion estimation techniques, the motion vectors of the virtual loops can be acquired which may represent the speed of the passing vehicles. The experiments indicated that the proposed method was effective in detecting vehicle speed.
