摘要
竺可桢是我国高等教育史一位杰出的教育家 ,他的教育思想融合中西教育之长 ,颇具特色。在担任浙江大学校长 1 3年中 ,他秉着“求是”精神 ,采取一系列措施整顿和改革大学教育 ,将浙江大学从一所底子薄弱的地方性大学发展为人文荟萃、人才辈出的著名高等学府。
Zhu Ke-zhen is a famous educationalist in the history of higher education in China. His educational thoughts is characterized by the merit in combining western modern education and traditional education of China. In his thirteen years of presiding Zhejiang university, he took many educational reforms, improved the university highly and made it well-known all over the world. It’s necessary for us to study his valuable educational thoughts and practice today.
