摘要
教育地理学是笔者近年来创立的一门教育学和地理学分支学科。本文探讨了教育地理学的研究对象和学科性质，认为教育地理学研究的是特殊的教育现象或教育问题，即具有地理学意味的教育现象或教育问题，或者说教育现象或教育问题的地理学层面。教育地理学是教育科学体系中的基础学科，是地理学体系中的应用学科，同时，是教育学和地理学的中介学科。
Educational geography is a subdiscipline of education and geography. In the essay, the author holds that educational geography studies educational phenomena or problems concerning geography. Educational geography is one of the basic disciplines in education, an applied one in geography, in the meanwhile, it is an intermediatory discipline between education and geography.
