A capillary GC method for the determination of residual methanol and ethanol in mo- xonidine hydrochloride was presented. A HP PONA capillary column was used. The average recoveries of methanol and ethanol were 99.6% and 99.9%, respectively. The detection limits were 21 and 17 ng/ml, respectively.
