摘要
开关电源被誉为高效、节能电源,它代表着稳压电源的发展方向。采用开关电源可有效减小功率损耗,通过外围电路还可进一步提高电源的工作效率。文中介绍了TOPSwitch系列和TinySwitch系列新型单片开关电源在节能、降耗方面的新技术,包括低功耗待机、远程通/断控制、跳过周期、轻载时自动降低开关频率,最后阐述了提高开关电源效率的几种方法,为设计节能型开关电源提供了依据。
High effciency and low power consumption is the characteristic of switching power supply, and it stands for the development direction of regulated power supply. Low power loss can be attained through swiching power supply. In addition,with the help of external circuit,the operation effciency of power can be improved. This paper introduces the new technology to minimize power loss for new one-chip switching power supply,including low power loss on idle state,remote on/off,skip cycles,decreasing the switch frequency automatically with light load. At last,this paper provides several methods to improve switch efficiency.
