摘要
现代科学技术的高度发展 ,在教育领域中出现了后现代课程观和后现代教育学 ,以此审视科学教育 ,将引发科学教育改革的新理念 .科学教育的最终目标是提高人的科学素养 ,由于各国的国情和文化背景之间的差异 ,对科学素养的理解也就不同 ,从而导致科学教育目标的不同 ,在这种多元化取向中又存在着共同的特点和总的趋势 .STS教育应运而生 ,它作为世界科学教学领域中实施的以改进整个社会的科学文化为目的的一种文化战略 ,亟待引起我们的重视、研究与深刻理解 ,以作为我国当前课程改革、科学教育改革有益的借鉴 .
With the rapid development of modern science and technology, the post-modern curriculum perspective and the post-modern pedagogy are put forward in the educational field to reconsider science education and to initiate the new ideas of the reform in science education. Improving science literacy is the ultimate goal of science education. Due to the difference of the national conditions and the cultural context, there are diverse comprehensions of the science literacy which leads to the varying science education aims. But common characteristics and general trend can be found in this pluralistic tendency. As a cultural strategy in the world science education field, STS education emerges as the times require. It is carried out to improve the science and culture of the whole society which calls for our great concern,research and profound understanding so as to make use of it for curriculum innovation and science education reform in China.
