摘要
上海柴油机厂D6114柴油机气缸体,气缸盖铸件型(芯)砂采用的冷硬呋喃树脂砂易产生机械粘砂,尤其气缸盖内腔粘砂严重。作者分析了此机械粘砂产生的原因和机理,在冷硬树脂砂的配制中加入氧化铁粉,加之采用双层涂料,有效地保护了砂芯在高温下的完整性,并防止了金属液渗入,改进了铸件表面质量。
The air-hardening furan resin sand used in the molds or cores for cylinder block or cyclinder head castings of D6114 diesel engine has great tendency to cause problem of metal penetration, especially in the internal cavities of cylinder head.
The author analysed the mechanism of the metal penetration. By adding Fe_2O_3 powder into furan resin sand, and applying double coatings on the surface of the molds or cores, the metal penetration was prevented and the surface quality of castings was improved.
