高能球磨低温煅烧制备单相莫来石 被引量:20

SINGLE PHASE MULLITE FABRICATED AT LOWER TEMPERATURE BY HIGH ENERGY MILLING

摘要 研究了高岭土和氢氧化铝的混合物用高能球磨机粉磨后结构的变化 ,讨论了粉磨样品中莫来石形成机理。在粉磨过程中 ,颗粒粒径的减小主要在粉磨初期 ,随着粉磨时间的增加 ,细颗粒会发生团聚。粉磨 5h后 ,样品会变成无定形态。在较低的温度 ( 115 0℃ )下煅烧 ,只有粉磨至无定形后样品的烧结体才会生成单相莫来石。未粉磨混合物在 14 5 0℃以前制成的烧结体除了产生莫来石相以外 ,还会出现刚玉和方石英相。 The structure transformation of the mixture of kaolinite and aluminum hydroxide after grinding by a high energy ball was investigated. The mechanism of the mullite formation in the ground mixture samples was discussed. The particle size reduction of the mixture occurred in the early stage of grinding and the obtained fine particles aggregated subsequently with the increase of grinding time. The mixture samples transferred into amorphous after 5 h grinding. Single phase mullite was obtained only when particles became amorphous for the sintered body at the relatively lower temperature of 1150°C. Corundum phase and cristobalite phase were formed from the sintered body of the unground mixture before 1450°C. The reason of single phase mullite formation at lower temperature is due to the mechanochemical change of the mixture ground by high energy milling.
