In this paper,N,N,N′,N′- tetrabutylglutaramide (TBGA) was synthesized and purified by vacumm distillation.The extractability of this diamide for Cerium(Ⅲ),Praseodymium(Ⅲ),terbium(Ⅲ) has been studied.The effect of concentrations of nitric acid,extractant,LiNO 3 and the temperature on the extraction distribution ratios has been investigated in detail.The apparent constants of extraction and the thermodynamic functions of extraction reaction with TBGA in toluene were obtained.
