黄泥山坡缕石粘土矿床成因研究 被引量:8

摘要 江苏省盱胎县黄泥山坡缕石粘土矿床位于北西向玄武岩喷发带与洪泽-建湖隆起带的交接部位。矿体(层)产于中新统下草湾组玄武岩的顶部,呈水平层状产出。上新统桂五组玄武岩呈假整合覆盖在矿层之上。矿层下部有些地段夹玄武岩薄层或团块,而下草湾玄武岩在靠近矿层的部位强烈蒙脱石化,甚至完全转变为蒙脱石粘土,风化特征明显。对矿层与其下的玄武岩剖面的详细研究表明,矿层与底板玄武岩的主要矿物成分、结构构造特征、常量元素特征均是有规律的变化,呈逐渐过渡关系;微量元素基本一致;稀土模式完全一致。作者认为黄泥山坡缕石矿床是玄武岩的风化残余矿床。 Huangnishan palygorskite clay deposit is situated in the juncture of the northwest basalt eruptive belt and Hongze-Jianhu upwarped zone. The ore bodies (beds) occur in horizontal bed in the top of basalt of Xiacaowan formation of Miocene Series. Guiwu formation basalt of Pliocene Series overlies the ore beds in disconformity. There are some basalt thin beds or lumps in some sections near the bottom of ore beds Moreover, Xiacaowan basalt near the ore beds was strongly montmorillonized, even completely turned into montmorillonite, and the characteristics of weathering are very clear The studies of the ore beds and basalt section beneath the ore bodies in detail indicate that their main mineral composition, textures and structures, major elements are all varied regularly, often in gradual transition relationship, and also the trace elements basiealy and REE models completely have the various tendency. Therefore, the author considers that Huangnishan palygorskite deposit is a weathering residual one of basalt.
