摘要
在简述当前国内外远程教育现状的基础上 ,从不同时期对远程教育定义的变迁中揭示远程教育是为满足越来越多的人接受高质量教育的一种新的教育模式。论述了现代远程教育的特点以及高等院校图书馆应对远程教育新模式如何满足网上读者的信息需求 ,与时俱进 。
