摘要
在概述国内外远程教育发展现状的基础上,指出高校图书馆在远程教育中的角色和任务,分析如何适应远程教育的需要,拓展和强化图书馆的服务功能。
Distance education based on Internet is a new model of education and has given libraries a new opportunity for further developing. This paper outlines the actuality of distance education developement at home and abroad, points out the role and task of academic libraries in distance education and analyzes the expanded and strengthened library services for distance education.
