摘要
在目前对OODB缺乏统一认识的情况下,本文认为存在着两种OODB观,并采用基于DB的OODB观作为分析的基础.本文选择用于STEP规范建模的EXPRESS模型作为典型的EDB模型,以OODB模型衡量EXPRESS模型,并提出了一个兼顾OO特征与工程特点的EXOODB模型.
There are different opinions on what an OODB is and we reduce them into two views of OODB, OO-based OODB and DB-based OODB, The latter is taken as OODB in this paper. EXPRESS is taken as a typical engineering data model and analysed and compared with OODB model. A new database model which combines engineering and OODB characteristics is presented.
