摘要
美国TI公司TMS320C54XX系列DSP芯片,其片上未提供通用异步串行收发器(UART),而只有2~3个多通道缓冲同步串行接口(McBSP),对于与微机及其它设备进行异步数据传输的应用,必须在DSP上扩展异步串口。采用MAXIM公司的MAX3111异步串行收发器,以SPI方式与DSP直接接口,在硬件连接简单,软件编程方便的情况下,实现了同步到异步RS-232数据传输的转换,其数据通信正确、可靠,已经在工程实践中得到了很好的应用。本文详细论述了这种方法的软硬件实现。
MAX3111asynchronous serial transceiver of MAXIM Company,which interface directly to DSP by way of SPI,can realize the conversion of synchronous to asynchronous serial data transmission.The hardwire interface and software application are simple.The experimental result demonstrates that data be transferred is correct and reliable.This method has already g ot very g ood application in the project practice.This paper has deal with the software and hardware realization in detail.
