摘要
分析了G.652,G.653,G.655光纤的特点,介绍了当前一些新型通信光纤,如大有效面积光纤、低色散斜率光纤、全波光纤及其性能,指出这些光纤在应用过程中的色散和非线性效应对信息传输会造成很大影响。在组成WDM系统和DWDM系统时,由于G.652光纤对非线性效应抑制性能较好而适用于主要考虑非线性效应的2.5Gb/s及以下速率系统,由于G.655光纤的色散少而适应于主要考虑色散效应的10Gb/s及以上速率系统。
The property of optical fiber used in communication network is discussed, then the development of new optical fiber, such as large affective area optical fiber, low disperision shifted fiber and all wave optical fiber are introduced in detail. When the optical fiber is used into WDM and DWDM systems, the G. 652 is suitable for low transmission rate system up to 2.5 Gb/s in virtue of its good restrainability to nonlinear effect, and the G.655 is suitable for high transmission rate system down to 10 Gb/s in virtue of its few dispersion.
