摘要
在车牌自动识别系统中,车牌定位的准确度是决定系统性能的关键因素之一。该文提出了一种将彩色图像边缘检测技术与BP神经网络相结合的车牌定位方法。通过选取合适的预处理算法和抽取适当的特征使算法具有很好的准确性、适应性和实时性。
The precision of license plate segmentation definitively influences the performances of license plate recognition system.In the paper an algorithm using color image boundary detection technology and BP neural network is discussed in detail.The effective preprocessing algorithms and suitable features are adopted to implement precise,adaptive and real-time segmentation.
