摘要
西方文化的病根,在于人把自身变成世界的猜测者及旁观者,通过理性方法求取知识,进而利用这世界、征服这世界,最后使人与世界割裂,忽略了生命的成长。正本清源,唯有从教育着手,而教育必须回归生命的性情,唤醒人心,化解原始欲望,引导生命层层升进。性情教育的起始点必须落在体会性情的家庭教育,让夫妻、父母子女的关系回归正位。
The paper points out that the pathogeny of Western culture lies in the fact that man has turned himself into a reckoner and by\|stander of the world. Through rational means, he acquires knowledge, then exploits and conquers this world and finally tears himself apart from it. The neglect of both life and the promotion of life has rendered life pathetic and must be given an appropriate cure. The direction for the future progress of humanity must return to the origin of life. The fundamental approach lies solely in education which must return to the 'Xin Qing' (性情) of life in order to awaken people's mind (心), eliminate their primitive desire and to provide guidance to the promotion of life stage by stage. Xin Qing education cannot start from pure theoretical discussion speculation. It must be actualized in the experiencing of Xin Qing\|based family education, so that the relationship between husband and wife and between parents and children can be reinstated.
