摘要
为探明玉米GDS不育系雄性败育的细胞学机理,用光镜对新育成的玉米GDS细胞质雄性不育系及其同型保持系BG的小孢子发育进行了细胞学观察.结果表明,GDS不育系小孢子败育发生的时间较早,在小孢子母细胞减数分裂前期Ⅰ就表现出败育的特征,不能通过减数分裂.败育成2种形式:1)绒毡层异常膨大,小孢子母细胞浓缩解体;2)绒毡层液泡化程度低,小孢子母细胞早期开始浓缩解体.
In order to define the cytological mechanism of cytoplasmic male sterility of GDS,the cytological characteristics of new malesterile line GDS in maize and its maintainer line BG are observed by optical microscope. Results show that microspore abortion occurs relatively early in malesterile line GDS,shown in early stage Ⅰ of microspore maternal cell meiosis,which means microspore maternal cell fails to meiosis.There are two types of abortion,i.e,1)fine layers expanding abnormally and microspore maternal cells condensing to disjoint and 2)fine layers vacuolifing to a very low extent and microspore maternal cells beginning to condense and disjoint.
