摘要
改革开放以来 ,社会结构的急剧转型使弱势群体这一特殊社会群体逐渐浮出水面 ,弱势群体的社会保护问题已引起了各级政府部门乃至全社会的极大关注 ,也向社会工作提出了严峻的挑战。本文在对弱势群体的定义和范畴进行了客观界定和分析的基础上 ,认为关爱弱势群体是社会工作专业的崇高使命 。
Since China's reform and opening up to the world, the weak group, a special social group which results from the acute transformation of social structure, has become the focus of attention. The social protection of the weak group has not only drawn great attention of the government organs at various levels, but also posed a severe challenge to the social work. Based on the objective outline and analysis of the weak group in the respect of definition and scope, this paper holds that it is a lofty mission of the social workers to show solicitude and care for the weak group, and further expounds how the social work provides the weak group with social support and social protection.
