摘要
这篇文章旨在讨论权力话语对翻译理论与实践的影响。作者引证福柯的“权力话语”理论 ,从新历史主义文论角度和国内外翻译活动史实方面阐述了自己的观点 ,认为翻译活动受着原文作者和译文作者各自所处的权力话语的双重制约。
This paper is intended to associate translation studies with the theory of 'Power Discourse' put forward by Michel Foucault. The author has further interpreted the principal idea from the perspective of 'New Historicism' as well as the aspects of historical translation practice from the within and the without of our country. The author, hence, holds that translation is a process of re-creation manipulated and dominated by dual influence of the theory of 'Power Discourse'. The paper is composed in the hope of broadening the field of translation study through perceiving Foucault's theory of 'Power Discourse'.
