本文主要论述了因特网在西文编目工作中的重要应用。其中对在西文编目中如何运用TCP/IP、FTP、HTTP以及代理服务器、网络共享等网络技术做了较为详细的论述。
The paper expounds that the Internet is playing an important role in western language library catalogue. The network technology of how to use TCP/IP, FTP, HTTP, Proxy and Networkshare is given a detailed explanation in this article.
