摘要
语言主要用于交际,英语教学的主要目的是培养学习者使用英语进行交际的能力,不是单纯的知识积累。现代的教学体系旨在促进教学双方的有机结合,促进知识积累向交际能力转化。目前,就英语教学法而言基本达成共识,即以学习为中心(learning centered)的教学法来取代以教师为中心(teacher centered)教学法。
Language mainly serves communication.English teaching is chiefly aimed at cultivating learners ability to use English for communication,rather than purely for the accumulation of knowledge.The modern teaching system is directed at promoting the organic integration of teaching and learning and spurring the transfer of knowledge accumulation into communication ability.At present,a concerted understanding has been reached with regard to English teaching methodology,i.e.replacing teachercentered methodology with learningcentered methodology.
