This paper introduces water model experiments of molten steel flow field in tundish and its practical application. The model was made by simulating the conditions at №3 Steelmaking Plant of Anyang Steel. Due to the determination of optimum dam and weir height and fixing position, molten steel flow field in tundish was optimized, resulting in an obvious decrease of inclusion rejection of slab.
