潍钢1080 m^3高炉设计采用全冷却壁、薄壁炉衬、炭砖-陶瓷杯复合炉底、软水密闭循环冷却系统、PW型串罐无料钟炉顶、内燃式热风炉等一系列先进实用技术,以实现高炉“优质、低耗、高效、长寿、清洁”生产。
