摘要
本文通过对我国城乡恩格尔系数的考察,找出恩格尔系数变动的特征,并从数理方面探究影响恩格尔系数不规则变动的具体因素,建立计量模型修正恩格尔系数,得出恩格尔定律在我国基本适用的结论。
Engel coefficient is a critical indicator to expound the residents'life level. By observing Engel coefficient of our country from 1978 to 2000, the author find the coefficient is irregular, not change as Engel law:with economical income increase,the ratio of food payment is decrease.The variable character can be generalized that: Engle law is a trend, not a abosoluted tendency; Engel coefficient is higher than standard structure of Chenelly; the consumptive structure is not very rational in our country.To try to find out reasons of irregular changes of Engel coefficient, this paper uses qualitative and quantative analysis: In qualitative analysis, the author thinks the factor that effect Engel coefficient is price, food consumptive structure besides income. In quantative analysis, the paper uses mathematics to probe the inner factor that effect it's variance, it divided the coefficient into three part: elasticity of food demandincome, movement of average consumption and relative price. Then discovers the three factor how to effect the coefficient.To find out whether Engel law is adaptable to China, the paper builds a economitrics model to revise the coefficient, Finally,the paper comes into a conclusion that Engle law is essential applied in China.
