This article deals with the synthesis and characterization of epoxy-polyacrylic ester IPN emulsion. The stability of the emulsion and of the group of epoxy in the emulsion,and the influence of the compounding and work process of the emulsion on particle size are described. The water absorption of the epoxy-acrylic IPN polymer is 3% ,but that of the acrylic polymer without epoxy is 50%.
