热处理对PC的β转变与韧脆性的影响

摘要 研究了不同热处理温度、处理时间的双酚A型聚碳酸酯(PC)淬、退火试样的动态力学和宏观力学性能。结果表明,热处理和淬、退火对材料的低温β次级转变及其韧脆性有很大的影响。退火使样品β转变峰值降低,力学性能和断口表面表现为相对脆性。处理温度愈高、时间愈长,这些结果愈加明显。并从热处理、退火处理提高了分子链堆砌程度,限制了β转变分子运动,来解释上述现象。 The effcts of thermal treatments on the dynamic and macroscopic mechanical properties of PC material and on the feature of fracture surface impacted samples have been investigated. The results have shown that thermal treatments have a large effect on the β transition and toughness of PC material. As compared with quenching treatment, annealing increases the modulus of sample and tends td shift the a and β transition peaks to slight higher temperatures, but decreases the intensity of β secondary transition, especially for the samples that annealed at higher temperature and for longer time. Annealing treatment also gives raise both the tensile strength .and yielding strength of sample, while decreases the notched impact strength and both the elongation at yield and elongation to break (implying the material samples become less toughness which consists with a observation of fracture surface by SEM. The results could be interpreted by that the annealing treatment can enhance the densification of molecular chain packing which restricts the motion of some groups or small segments of the main polymer chain related to β transition, which in turn to reduce the toughness of material.
