摘要
1例晚期转移性乳腺癌患者采用大剂量联合化疗与自体骨髓移植(ABMT)。患者58岁,肝、肺、骨骼、肾与淋巴结均有转移,且有不同程度的功能损害,用一般剂量的联合化疗无效,ABMT后肝脏和肺部转移灶明显缩小,全身情况明显改善。
The result of treatment with a high--dose combination chemotherapy regimen and autologous bone marrow transplantation (ABMT) in a case of advanced metastatic breast cancer was reported. The patient was 58 years of age. Her liver, lung, bone, kidney and lymph nodes were all involved and not responsed to conventional chemotherapy and keeped on bed. After ABMT, liver reduced from 8. 4cm to 2. 5cm, below costal margin, from 16. 5cm to 4. 5cm, below xiphoid. The metastatic foci of the lungs were also obviously reduced. The general health status of the patient was obviously improved and she became ambulant. This suggest that ABMT may be a method for treatment of late stage carcinoma.
