摘要
本文提出了一个新的催化分光光度法测定痕量钒的方法。在酸性条件下,钒(Ⅴ)能催化氯酸钾氧化对硝基苯肼成偶氮离子,继与变色酸偶联生成红色偶氮化合物。于515nm波长处测量产物的吸光度,钒量在0.0025~0.035μg/10mL范围内服从Beer定律,方法的灵敏度为0.25ngV(Ⅴ)/mL。应用于水样、铝合金标样中钒的测定,结果较满意。
A new catalytic spectrophotometric method is proposed for the determination of trace amounts of vanadium. Vanadium (V) catalyzes the oxidation of p- nitrophenyl hydrazine by potassium chlorate to produce diazobenzene diazonium ion,which reacts then with chromotropic acid to form a red azodyestuff in acidic medium. The absorbance of the red dyestuff is measured at 515nm. Beer's law is obeyed in the range of 0.0025~0.035μgV(V)/10mL. The sensitivity presented equals to 0. 25ngV (V)/mL. Trace amounts of vanadium in water samples and aluminium alloys have been determined with satisfactory results.
