摘要
为适应古地球化学环境和古生态研究的需要,本文实验了用XRF粉末压片法测定贝壳中17种元素。文中重点讨论了少量样品压片和薄片(及薄样)装样方法。
The elemental compositions of calcareous mollusc shell fossils are very important to the researches of paleoenvironment and paleoecology.To overcome the disadvantages of AAS and ICP-AES in test solution preparation and fewer analytes a rapid, polyelemental XRF analysis of the shells is studied. 0.500g powdered sample is directly pressed into φ32mm disc with a mosaic edge and lined bottom of 3.0g H_3BO_3, or 0.100g sample and 0.100g cellolluse are mixed and pressed into φ22mm disc. To prevent the 0.1g sample discs from being broken when they are placed in sample holder and being measured, filter paper or polyester film is used as their supporter with its edge adhered on the mask of the holder at three points (angular separation of 120° each others) by pieces of 10mm×15mm transparent adhesive band. The sample placement method is more suitable for thin sample such as supported by filter paper or mylar film. The lowest detection limit is 1~10μg/g, the relative standard deviation is 0.54%~5.84% except light elements Na and Mg. The results are in good agreement with those analyzed by other techniques.
