摘要
The features and applications of the virtual instrument technology are summarizedin this paper.Weare concernedabout the networkingtreng of the de-velomentof the measuring instrumentand technology.The idea that the civil me-ters can be madebased on modularization is briefly described.Webelieve that the concept of"Softwareis the instrument"is not a pure statement,but an inci-sive feature of the developmentof the moderninstrument.Based on the general-ization feature of several measuringtechnologies including GPIB,and the experi-ence of successful enterprises participating in international competition,we concludethat it is necessary to makestrategic plan for electromagneticmeasur-ing technology and instrumentdevelopmentfrom point of view.
