摘要
黄遵宪晚年被罢官家居,然而,他仍然积极地传播西学:一方面注视着梁启超办报,极力纠正其办报宗旨的偏差,另一方面又在家乡大力普及新式小学教育,力所能及地进行"开民智"实践。
Huang Zunxian was dismissed from office in his late years. However, he thrown himself into diffusing western learning. One the one hand, he kept a close watch on Liang Qichao's tenets of running the newspapers, and corrected it. On the other hand, he popularized the latest type elementary school education in his hometown, and put his thought into practice.
