摘要1983年在加里福利亚和新英格兰灵长类研究中心先后发现了与人艾滋病的表现相似的猴艾滋病(Smian AIDS,SAIDS)(Letvin et al.,1983;Henrickson et al.,1983)。引起SAIDS的病原体有猴艾滋病D型逆转病毒(Simian AIDS Type D)Retrovirus,SRV)和猴免疫缺陷病毒(Simian Immunodefiency Virus,SIV)。
