摘要
在考虑液晶吸收效应的前提下 ,对向列相液晶BL 0 0 9作了电控双折射特性的研究 ,测出了入射光波长为5 6 0nm时双折射率随电压变化的关系曲线 ,同时得到了吸收系数随电压变化的关系曲线。
This paper investigates the voltage-dependent birefringence together with the absorption coefficient of BL-009 liquid crystal being put into AC electric field having a frequency of 1000 Hz at 27°C when the wavelength of incident light is 560 nm. The dependence of absorption coefficient on voltage was described. All useful optical effects of liquid crystal device are originated from birefringence. The characteristics of birefringence would be influenced by voltage.
