摘要
[目的]研究真空金属镀膜技术(VMD)对射击后弹壳上手印可视化检测的效果。[方法]以7.62mm黄铜弹壳和紫铜弹壳为对象,采用不同清洗方式预处理弹壳表面,再进行Au/Zn、Ag/Zn或Ag真空金属镀膜处理显现手印。考察了镀膜位置、镀膜时间、金属蒸发量及镀膜金属种类对手印可视化效果的影响。利用场发射扫描透射电镜分析了老化时间黄铜弹壳与紫铜弹壳的表面形态、微观结构变化及其对手印可视化检测的影响。[结果]无水乙醇清洗可有效清除弹壳表面非实验手印。弹壳老化14d内表面微观结构未发生显著改变,不影响手印VMD显现效果;对于遗留手印超过14 d的弹壳,Au/Zn VMD是手印可视化检测的最佳方法。[结论]VMD技术能够有效显现射击弹壳上的潜手印。
[Objective]To study the visual detection of latent fingerprints on fired cartridge cases using vacuum metal deposition(VMD)technology.[Method]Using 7.62 mm brass and copper cartridge cases as substrates,different methods were first applied to clean the case surface,followed by fingerprint visualization via Au/Zn,Ag/Zn,or Ag VMD.The effect of deposition position,deposition time,metal evaporation amount,and coating metal type on the visualization effectiveness of latent fingerprints were examined.The changes in surface morphology and microstructure of brass and red copper cartridge cases with aging time,as well as their influence on fingerprint visualization were studied by field emission scanning transmission electron microscopy.[Result]The non-experimental fingerprints could be effectively removed from the cartridge case surface through cleaning with absolute ethanol.Within 14 days of aging,no significant change in the surface microstructure of the cartridge cases was observed,and the aging did not affect the VMD-based visualization.For cartridge cases with fingerprints aged over 14 days,Au/Zn VMD yielded the best visualization results.[Conclusion]Effective visualization of latent fingerprints on fired cartridge cases can be achieved through VMD technology.
