摘要
语言是文化的载体,翻译不仅是语言形式的转换,还是不同文化之间的沟通与理解。中西方国家拥有各自独特的社会历史、风俗习惯、价值观念和思维方式,这些因素在一定程度上影响着英汉翻译的质量。研究从文化差异的角度出发,探讨中西文化差异在翻译中的具体体现,并提出主要翻译策略,以期为提高跨文化翻译的准确性与有效性提供参考。
Language is the carrier of culture,and translation is not merely a conversion of linguistic forms,but also a means of communication and understanding between different cultures.Western and Chinese countries possess their own unique social histories,customs,values,and ways of thinking,which significantly influence the quality of English-Chinese translation.This study explores the specific manifestations of cultural differences between China and the West in translation from the perspective of cultural differences,and proposes key translation strategies to provide a reference for improving the accuracy and effectiveness of cross-cultural translation.
