摘要
近年来,西非一直是中国开展贸易投资及金融合作的重要目的地。然而,近期中国与西非经贸合作面临着严峻挑战,既有恐怖主义蔓延、基础服务不足、资源民族主义兴起等本土性风险,又有来自欧盟、印度、法国、美国等主体的激烈竞争。基于此,本文提出中国可在提高自身竞争力的同时,改善在西非项目的投资环境以降低潜在风险,并通过促进货币发行和本币结算等方式以破除金融合作障碍,以推动经贸合作深入发展。
In recent years,West Africa has remained an important destination for China’s trade,investment,and financial cooperation.However,China–West Africa economic and trade cooperation has recently faced severe challenges.These include localized risks such as the spread of terrorism,inadequate basic public services,and the rise of resource nationalism,as well as intensified competition from actors such as the European Union,India,France,and the United States.In this context,this paper argues that China should enhance its own competitiveness while improving the investment environment of projects in West Africa to mitigate potential risks,and promote currency issuance mechanisms and local-currency settlement to remove barriers to financial cooperation,thereby advancing deeper and more sustainable economic and trade cooperation.
