摘要
互联网对经济地理格局的重塑发挥了重要作用,互联网如何影响城市内部经济布局值得进一步探索.本文通过将互联网这一外生因素引入单中心城市企业区位选择模型,理论推演互联网重塑城市内部经济布局的内在机理,并利用夜间灯光数据、工商企业注册数据、工业企业数据等多源微观数据实证检验互联网对中国城市去中心化的影响及作用机制.研究发现:互联网能够显著促进城市去中心化布局.机制检验表明,互联网通过影响企业区位进而促进城市经济活动去中心化布局,并通过降低中心城区企业的人工成本强化城市中心的集聚力,通过降低企业管理成本和交易成本扩大城市中心的分散力.进一步研究发现,互联网在促进城市去中心化的同时,推动了城市多中心空间结构的形成.
The Internet has played an important role in reshaping economic geography,and the way it affects the economic layout within cities deserves further exploration.The study theoretically deduces the intrinsic mechanism by which the Internet reshapes the internal economic layout of cities,introducing it into the enterprise location choice model of monocentric cities.It then empirically examines the impact and mechanism of the Internet on the decentralization of Chinese cities by using multi-source microdata,such as nighttime lighting data,industrial and commercial business registration data,and industrial enterprise data.It is found that the Internet can significantly contribute to the decentralized layout of cities.Mechanism tests show that the Internet promotes the decentralized layout of urban economic activities by influencing enterprise location,strengthens the agglomeration power of urban centers by lowering the labor costs of enterprises in the central city,and expands the decentralization power of urban centers by lowering the management costs and transaction costs of enterprises.Further research found that the Internet has facilitated the formation of polycentric spatial structures in cities while promoting urban decentralization.
