摘要
隐喻研究多停留于单一模型阐释,缺乏系统比较。本研究将五个具有代表性的隐喻模型纳入同一分析框架,即Aristotle比较模型、Quintilian替代模型、Richards互动模型、Lakoff&Johnson概念模型以及Halliday分层模型,系统揭示其在理论机制上的递进式继承关系,呈现隐喻研究从修辞、到认知、再到功能视角的整体演进逻辑,而非彼此割裂的并列状态。在此基础上,提出以隐喻替代性本质为核心的隐喻本体论模型。研究发现,该模型与隐喻分层模型高度契合,为隐喻语法研究提供了新的理论支点。
Metaphor research has largely remained focused on the interpretation of individual models,with limited systematic comparison.This study brings five representative metaphor models,the Aristotelian comparison model,Quintilian’s substitution model,Richards’interaction model,Lakoff and Johnson’s conceptual model,and Halliday’s stratified model,into a unified analytical framework.It systematically reveals their progressive relations in theoretical inheritance,outlining the overall developmental trajectory of metaphor studies from rhetorical to cognitive and then to functional perspectives,rather than treating them as isolated parallel approaches.On this basis,the study proposes an ontological model of metaphor grounded in the substitutive nature of metaphor.The findings show that this model closely aligns with the stratified model,providing a new theoretical foundation for metaphoric grammar research.
